Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress who is best famous for her performances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in the year 2003. Anna's role on Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major break. Her performance in the biographical film All the Way as the woman's rights activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the notice of the general public. Hind is also being acknowledged for her performance in the role she was playing as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a 3rd season. Hind was recently finished filming the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is set to be released around the middle of 2019.
